Water Fun!

Clare has been enjoying playing with water lately, she’s constantly asking for some water in her little kitchen cups; today she asked for water to play with outside.  After gathering up some measuring cups, spoons and a few mixing bowls she was set for some fun on the deck.

Clare had lots of fun scooping water from one bowl to the other, filling the cups with water and bringing them over to me for a drink or to dump on my toes. 

I suggested putting water on her own toes. 

She kept trying to take a drink from the measuring cups, she hasn't quite figured out that you need to tip the cup. 

It was all fun and games until her dress got wet; she instantly wanted me to wipe it up. 

Mama, wipe it!

I think we’ve found an activity that will become a favorite this summer.
