Happy Easter - Part I

Clare is one of the luckiest little girls, today her Dada hosted an Easter Egg Hunt at the Sports Dome and Clare had her own little spot to hunt for eggs that he put down just for her.   She needed no direction about what to do, once the buzzer sounded she was off and picking up eggs.  She’s grown a lot in the last year as far as Easter egg hunting goes.

Unfortunately Clare wasn’t feeling very well again today so our egg hunt was short, we were able to get a Dr. appointment just 20 minutes after I called.  I wasn’t going to call, but Grammy thought maybe her ears were bothering her since she’d had a fever all day Friday and seemed a little slower than her normal self.   Fortunately, or unfortunately, Grammy was right, both ears are infected and it’s a good thing we made a visit before things got worse over the weekend.  She took an almost 4 hour nap after her busy morning. 

After our visit with Annie the NP Clare and I went back to the Dome for a little more fun while Grammy and Grampy ran a few errands.  Clare had a blast and didn’t let her ears stop her.  She had fun playing in Dada's office, picking up more eggs, bouncing in the bouncy castle and visiting with Dr. Sarah the dentist who gave her another new toothbrush! 

Tonight I think the Easter Bunny might visit, Clare’s Easter basket is out and ready for some eggs.  Stay tuned to see how her first at home Egg hunt goes.
