Grammy and Grampy arrived Monday evening for a spring Birthday visit with Clare. They flew in on Monday evening just before the snow started, by the time we drove down the hill Tuesday morning the roads were less than great and the snow was still falling. We didn’t let the snow stop us; we still had a good day, despite a visit to the dermatologist for me.
Whenever Grammy and Grampy come to town we know we’ll be doing lots of shopping, laughing, visiting Target and Kohl’s, and eating good food; this visit hasn’t been any different. Grammy and I have had a lot of fun shopping; having both Easter and a Birthday to shop for has been a lot of fun!
Grammy got Clare a new sunhat and some Crocs, she loves both, especially the shoes!
Grampy has been having lots of fun playing with Clare, and Clare has loved all the attention. They have played ball, gone down stairs for tea parties, read some books, played with princesses, and shared the backseat all over town. I think Clare will really miss her Grampy when he leaves tomorrow.
Clare is all aout Princesses, everything and anything Princess. Grammy brought Clare a princess book and a few princess dolls, she can't get enough of the book!
Having Grammy and Grampy here has been wonderful; I’m going to be sad to see them leave tomorrow. We don’t have any plans for another visit, hopefully it won’t be too long and maybe we’ll even see them in Ohio next!
